Editorial Review:
Product Description: A down-to-earth, comprehensive handbook on how to play and legitimately win at casino blackjack. It contains an extensive chapter on correct basic strategy, including a color-coded strategy chart--plus clear explanations of the proper plays for several hands that are consistently misplayed. Convincing visual scenarios are given to disprove prevalent blackjack myths which most typical players believe in--and steadfastly play by. It presents 3 different card counting systems ranging from entry-level to professional, and showcases the KISS Count--an easy-to-use, upgradable system for gaining a full-scale advantage in today's modern games. Also offers valuable, "outside-the-box" maneuvers for improving the performance of the common player, many of which have scarcely, or never appeared in print, such as: Profiting from Other Players' Hands, The Magnificent 7 Hands, Hi Card/Lo Card Layouts, The Ace/10 Front Count, True Fudging with Unbalanced Counts, and The "Nifty 15" Camouflage Hands. This book contains over 40 useful charts and 60 vivid hand illustrations.

Reading this on the plane down to Vegas was a good investment. I only played the $10 blackjack tables, but knowing the simple rules in this book (and asking the dealer on splits and doubles) netted me $250. Well worth the initial investment. The only thing i would say is that if you understand numbers and probability, you can skip half of this book.

The other being KO. This is the better of the two, it provides a clearer understanding of when and why to deviate from basic strategy. The KO book is probably the easier read, and a 'slightly' easier counting system, but this is my favorite read and does provide some even easier ways to improve your odds without employing a full counting system. I will use the 5/6 count at times I am with friends or family and playing just for fun and not in the mode of full counting (which takes all of my attention). This is VERY EASY, it is explained in the book, and improves your odds over Basic strategy alone. This insight alone shows you that not all high counts are equal. I have hammered shoes after seeing 5s and 6s split and re-split in front of my eyes, while the dejected players left the gold mine at the table for me to clean up. All because of insights I obtained from this book. Highly recommended!

This book should be the very first book any serious aspiring black jack player should read. It's VERY simple and all the count strategies are just as simple. I have had great success in the casinos so far with it and it's basically my BJ bible. I now have other books that are great also, but this is #1 by far
